I am interested in alternative living situations and the different ways that people can live that are outside the norm. I am to explore the day to day life of people who live on boats, aka 'liveaboards.' This series folows the lives of three people: Justin, Mike, and Erin, who are docked at Henderson's Wharf in Fells Point in Baltimore, MD. My photos follow their lives on the boat year round and the changing on the weather and surrounding scenery. As liveaboards, these people have made themselves into societal outcasts. To move, all they must do is take their boat and sail it wherever they please. By rejecting a hours or apartment, they are now a strange novelty. Instead of being tied to the land, their boats are a symbol of their lifestyle choices and desire for freedom and a nomadic lifestyle.
